Help Protect Health Savings Accounts

Your help is needed to preserve health savings accounts. Several policies that are included in the recently passed House bill and the newly released Senate bill would have a negative impact on HSA plans. Urgent action is needed to remind legislators of the promise that was made that people who like their current coverage will be able to keep it.

A health plan offered in conjunction with a health savings account is one of the fastest growing coverage options in America. In 2009, more than eight million lives were covered by a health savings account, which was over a 31 percent increase from the previous year. There are many reasons why HSA plans are helping more and more people get access to medical care and control their health costs.
